Reservation Rules
Last updated: August 08, 2026
Our Terms and Conditions have always stated that unauthorized transactions or transferring of customer rights are not allowed. To remove all doubt, no 3rd parties are authorized to sell, transfer, or otherwise provide access to any Mount Kidd RV Park reservation. All reservations must be purchased via this system online, or in-person at our front-desk.
We reserve the right to cancel any unauthorized or transferred transaction/reservation without refund nor compensation. As per the Terms and Conditions of this service, we also reserve the right to seek damages from any and all parties involved in such unauthorized or transferred transactions/reservations.
- Reservations can be made up to 90 days in advance of your arrival date.
- There is a limit of five campsite reservations per transaction.
- The maximum stay is fourteen (14) consecutive nights, with a minimum of 24 hours offsite before staying any additional night(s).
For clarity, guests must vacate Mount Kidd RV Park's entire property for at least 24 hours after staying on our property for 14 consecutive-night. Any guests (primary or visiting) found to have 15+ reserved consecutive-nights are subject to reservation cancellations without refund. All out-of-compliance reservations are subject to all applicable change fees to bring those reservations back into compliance. - "SLIDING" (repeatedly advancing a campsite reservation beyond the 90-day window) is not permitted, as it circumvents the principle of fair access to all. Persons engaging in sliding may have their reservation cancelled. To prevent "SLIDING," you cannot make changes to your reservation until your departure date falls within 90 days of today's date.
- No more than six people may occupy a campsite, unless they are all members of a single family unit.
- You may book only one camping accommodation unit per campsite at the time of reservation. Additional units may be added at check-in. An additional camping fee is charged for additional accommodation units and/or tents on a campsite. Important: portable toilet tents and portable shower tents are not permitted.
- There is a $14 non-refundable reservation fee per reserved campsite, and a $10 non-refundable change fee for
any modifications to your reservation.
Price increases from $12 & $8, respectively, for all reservations after May 1, 2025
Additionally, to prevent abuse of the 90-day window, a 50% of price per-day-removed, non-refundable, change fee will be applied for reservation change(s) resulting in the advancement of greater than one day from the original beginning of a reservation. - If a cancellation is made more than 72 hours before check-in time of the scheduled arrival date, the standard camping fees will be refunded.
- If a cancellation is made less than 72 hours before check-in time of the scheduled arrival date, two nights camping fee will be forfeited. Any remaining camping fees will be refunded.
- Full pre-payment of all reservation charges and fees is required at the time of reservation.
- Discounts, such as seniors discounts, cannot be processed when making reservations; applicable discounts are processed at check-in.
- Camping reservation holders are responsible for the actions of all camping party members and any visitors to their campsite.
- Guaranteed check-in time is 4 PM.
Please
Note
Due to our site cleaning procedures between guests, we will no longer be accepting early check-in before 4PM. - Check-out time is 1 PM.
- Mount Kidd RV Park will not provide refunds for anything beyond our control; such as, but not limited to: inclement weather, family emergencies, evictions, environmental disasters, etc.
- Only the person whose name is on the reservation as the reservation holder has access to change or cancel a reservation.
- Registered Reservation Holder's Responsibilities
- All reservations must have a person registered as the holder of the reservation. By default, this is the person who's account the reservation is held within.
- The reservation holder must ensure that their account with us has their current and accurate full name, home address, and telephone number when checking in. Valid government issued ID will soon be required of all reservation holders upon check-in.
- The reservation holder must ensure that their account with us has a valid credit-card stored, that they are legally authorized to use, for the entire duration of their responsbilities for any and all reservations.
- The reservation holder is responsible for registering all of their guests' full names and contact phone number before or when they arrive.
- The reservation holder is responsible for the accuracy of all information provided on their account and on all reservations in their account, without exception.
- The reservation holder is liable for any and all damages caused by anyone in their campsite during their reservation, without exception.
- A minimum $150.00 cleaning fee, per incident, will be charged for any campsites left unattended with any required cleaning by our staff, agents, or legally authorized entity (e.g. Law Enforcement). The discretion and definition of what is required to be cleaned will be solely held by our staff, agents, or any legally authorized entity.
- The reservation holder remains legally responsible and liable for all reservations in their account unless the transfer is discussed in-person with, and approved by, our front-desk manager. To be clear, the reservation remains in the possession of the original reservation holder until the reservation is removed from their account by our front-desk staff, for a fee. To remove all doubt, both parties must be present, in-person, for a reservation to be transferred, and there will be $14 transfer-fee, per site, charged to the original reservation holder and all standard fees and rules remain in effect. (i.e. the reservation will be refunded to the original holder, minus the transfer fee for each site being transferred plus any and all other applicable fees and charges. The new reservation holder will be charged in full for the reservation including the standard $14 booking fee per site.)
- Any attempt to circumvent any of our policies, by any party, is grounds for all related reservations to be cancelled and all persons evicted, if applicable, without refund, at our discretion to our full satisfaction.
- The reservation holder is responsible for all related costs and legal fees that we incur to enforce any and all of our policies relevant to any and all of the reservations held within their account.
Shared Campsites
Important: Any fees for additional units that remain unpaid at the time of departure will automatically be applied to the default credit card on file, or the credit card used to secure the reservation if no default credit card exists. You may request that additional unit fees are paid by other means (other credit card, cash, debit) prior to departure.
No Shows & Late Arrivals
- Reservations are held until 2 PM of the day following the scheduled arrival date.
- If you do not notify us of a late arrival before 2 PM, your reservation will be cancelled. Refunds will be determined on when the reservation was cancelled.
- For clarity, if a no-show reservation is subsequently requested to be cancelled by the guest after the scheduled arrival date, the effective cancellation time is when the cancellation is recorded by us, and any refund will be calculated from that time.

- For clarity, on a No-Show, 7-night reservation, if a guest does not arrive and does not notify us by 2 PM of the day following the scheduled arrival date, the first 3 nights are non-refundable regardless of when the guest subsequently requests a refund; any refund for remaining nights will be calculated from the time the cancellation is recorded by us under this Cancellation Policy.
- Cancellations occurring after a guest has checked-in will not receive a refund for the two nights
following the time of cancellation. For clarity, a "night" begins at 4 PM, so a cancellation occurring
after 4 PM will not receive a refund for the current calendar day, nor up to the two following
nights.

Communications
We contact you about your interactions with Mount Kidd RV Park in three discrete categories. Each category has its own consent rules, channels, and method to change your preferences.
1. Emergency Communications — required, no opt-outWe will contact you regarding natural disasters, wildlife incidents, missing-persons notices, on-site emergencies, and other matters of public safety affecting guests at the park. These messages are sent only as needed (historically less than once per year). They apply to everyone in your reservation, including registered (additional) guests whose phone numbers you provide to us at booking — those numbers are used for emergencies only and for no other purpose.
Lawful basis: vital interests (public safety) under PIPEDA; CASL §6(6)(c) (safety-related messages exempt from opt-in requirements); GDPR Art. 6(1)(d) where applicable.
2. Reservation Communications — required for the duration of your stay; SMS is opt-in onlyWe will send reservation-related notices to the primary account holder for booking confirmations, payment receipts and requests, change notices, waiting-list responses, check-in / check-out confirmations, and changes to the terms you have agreed to. These are sent only on the occurrence of a triggering event for a reservation you have directly or indirectly initiated.
Email, telephone, and physical mail are required channels for the life of your reservation. SMS requires your separate express opt-in and can be withdrawn at any time by replying STOP to any SMS we send or by updating your preferences from your account.
Lawful basis: contract performance and implied consent under CASL §10(9) (existing business relationship for 24 months from your last transaction).
3. Marketing Communications — optional, opt-in onlyWith your express opt-in consent, we may send you opening-date reminders, discount programs, on-site and youth activities updates, local-area activities, and general or partner promotional materials. You opt in to each channel (email, SMS, telephone, physical mail) independently. Marketing messages are sent rarely.
You may withdraw consent for any or all marketing channels at any time by:
- following the unsubscribe link in any marketing message we send;
- updating your Communications Preferences on the My Account → Communications Preferences page; or
- emailing support@mountkiddrv.com — we respond within 30 days, per PIPEDA Principle 9.
We use four channels: email, SMS (text message), telephone, and physical mail. For marketing, consent is recorded separately per channel. For reservation communications, email is the default; SMS requires opt-in. For emergency communications, we may use any channel for which we have your contact information.
Registered (additional) guests on your reservationIf you add registered (additional) guests to your reservation and provide their phone numbers, by doing so you confirm that you have those guests' permission to share their contact information with Mount Kidd RV Park and that they consent to receive emergency communications from us at those numbers. Their numbers are not used for any other purpose.
Your rights — and how to exercise themYou may at any time:
- Withdraw consent for marketing communications (any or all channels) — via the unsubscribe link in any marketing message, your Communications Preferences page on My Account, or by emailing support@mountkiddrv.com.
- Access the personal information we hold about you — request via support@mountkiddrv.com.
- Request correction or deletion of inaccurate personal information — request via support@mountkiddrv.com.
- File a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or your provincial commissioner.
Note: Emergency and reservation communications cannot be opted out of for the duration of an active reservation — these are required for the safety of our guests and the proper operation of your booking. If you do not wish to receive them, please contact us to cancel your reservation prior to arrival.
